Short course 2: Fermentative production of hydrogen from organic waste (Taught in English) @ University of Sao Paulo, Brazil
Environmental Engineer (2006–2010) and MSc in Geosciences and Environment (2011–2013, Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences/Unesp). PhD in Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering (2013–2017, São Carlos School of Engineering/USP). Former postdoctoral researcher in Chemical Engineering (2017–2021, Polytechnic School/USP) and in Microbiology (2022, University of Galway). Currently, Assistant Professor in the Department of Hydraulics and Sanitation (2023–, São Carlos School of Engineering/USP) in the field of sanitation, also engaged in teaching and research activities within the Graduate Program in Environmental Engineering Sciences (PPG-SEA) at the same institution.
His research interests focus on waste(water) valorization through their conversion into biofuels (methane and biohydrogen) and biochemicals via anaerobic processes (biorefinery concept). His investigations encompass both experimental and techno-economic analyses of processes driven by microorganisms.
